Two tie bar double tied expansion joints (TD)

Two tie bar double tied expansion joints are formed of two bellows connected with central pipe. Expansion joint is tied with two (TD) or more (TM) tie rods which are connected to restraining flanges through spherical washers. With application of these expansion joints, high values of lateral movements can be compensated and in variant with two tie rods angular displacement as well.

Advantage of this type is elimination of needs for robust fix points because force due to internal pressure is taken over by tie elements.
